Rocking in Caversham Valley and new arrivals in Lidgetton

Prime Circle at The Groves

You kinda had to pinch yourself! It felt a little surreal to be in a room again with music fans, rocking out to some excellent homegrown SA music. Personally, the last time I enjoyed a gig like this was before the pandemic hit 19 months ago.

It was an eventful afternoon all-round for the Meander Chronicle on Saturday as we rocked with Prime Circle at The Groves in Caversham and then went to welcome family members who have moved from the north coast to Lidgetton.

Prime time.

Happy days, more people to discover the magic of our beautiful region! A few glasses were raised.

After slim pickings on the live entertainment front (due to le Covid-19), Prime Circle was an excellent choice for a top-quality act to get the music scene rocking and fans back on their feet. Loud, powerful, emotional rock music, the boys from Gauteng delivered as their fans knew they would … hundreds pitched up to show their support and gorge on the music. Beer and gin were flowing nicely and there were some interesting treats to keep the fans fuelled and well fed.

Innocence

From Consider Me to Same Goes for You, Pretty Like the Sun, Innocence and other PC classics, this was a performance and day out the Midlands community will remember for some time.

Chris and Chante with family.

After an epic gig we headed on over to Lidgetton for a welcoming party for our new arrivals. It was an exciting, heart-warming moment and we just know Chris and Chante are going to contribute and enjoy immersing themselves in this vibrant, tight-knit community.

Welcome guys.
