GHS Top 9 Learner Leaders for 2018

Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High School officially announced its 2018 top nine learner leaders who have stepped into the leadership role.









GHS Top Sport Award

Nonkanyiso Nyati


Nonkanyiso Nyati was awarded the Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High School’s top sport award for 2017, the Val Fowler Trophy for Outstanding Senior Sportwomen.

Nonkanyiso played for the GHS’s 2nd Netball Team, and for the First Teams in Basketball, Tennis, Hockey and Indoor Hockey. She represented the District in Tennis during 2016. This year, Nonkanyiso was selected for the U18A KZN Inland Hockey and Basketball Teams, and she played in the National Tournaments. Nonkanyiso was also awarded Sports Honours.
