Love Howick will be hosting its NGO INSPIRE EVENT on February 2 2021, from 9am-1pm at the Oasis Conference Centre, 72 Main Street, Howick.

This event is for anyone involved in community development, NGO work or who wants to get involved in changing people’s lives for the better in local communities.

The guest speaker is Pete Portal, who lives in Manenberg in the Cape with his wife Sarah, and is the author of No Neutral Ground. Pete spends much of his time developing relationships and networks across racial and socio-economic divides.

The book is described as an account of transformation, of developing a church community, building relationships and plenty heartbreak and failure along the way.

Love Howick says: “NGOs have the opportunity to network and build relationships, build capacity and skills, and be inspired.”

There is a R30 reservation fee for this event, with a light brunch being served.

RSVP: by January 22 to book your attendance.
