New Hanover Prep Sports News
At New Hanover Prep. sport is an integral part of the school and contributes to the all-round development of the children. At NHP the children participate in nine different sporting codes throughout the year, and it is wonderful for them to be exposed to and learn the rules of these different sports.
2017 has got off to a great start on the sporting front for NHP. Our U13 boys have had a fantastic cricket season thus far, beating Cowan House, Merchiston 3rd team and the highlight being winning the Wembley Umvoti 6s cricket tournament. The NHP swimming team has also excelled this term, winning the Umvoti gala which was hosted at Hermannsburg on 23 February.
