The Merchiston Preparatory School Grade 3 boys recently enjoyed the morning spent outdoors at the Botanical Gardens using leaves and sticks to count, spell and draw.

Teddy bears join the Merchiston boys for the day
Teddy Bears, snacks and a picnic blanket is the perfect combination to celebrate Literacy day for the Foundation Phase boys at Merchiston Preparatory School. The Grade 1 boys focused on the letter B whilst enjoying their ‘Teddy Bears’ picnic’.

Merchiston boys enjoy Literacy Day

Merchiston Preparatory School Grade 2 boys recently celebrated Literacy day. The boys were dressed up from the popular folktale ‘The Hare and the Tortoise’ which they are presently reading.

Merchiston 125th Rugby Festival

Merchiston Preparatory School recently hosted the Merchiston 125th Rugby Festival. The Festival saw 14 schools from across the country play against one and another in some very exciting Primary School rugby.

Merchiston proud of KZN Rugby and Hockey Selections

Merchiston Prep School Tag Rugby Success

Merchiston Preparatory School recently hosted their ninth annual Spur Merchiston Tag rugby festival with over 54 teams of both boys and girls playing and learning new skills. The Tag festival is endorsed by the SA Rugby Legends. This includes a skills clinic given by Ian McIntosh and the SA Rugby Legends.

Merchiston Big Brothers
The Grade 7 Merchiston Preparatory School boys volunteer their time to be Big Brother’s to the IMPS, as part of the school’s Blue Heart initiative.
