IN PICTURES: Midlands transition from Autumn to Winter

It’s a visually spectacular time of year in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands when fields, trees and gardens change colour, and we are treated to clear, crisp skies with amazing stars at night. Some plants thrive and come into their own, while others wilt and die or go to sleep til Spring.

If you can roll with the winter cold, you might just find it’s your favourite time of year.
