Open Day at Endeavour Aplacas

Endeavour Aplacas at Curry’s Post is hosting an open day on Sunday, December 20, 2020 from 10am.

The cost is R20 a person, no mask – no entry.

Other than information on alpacas and a demonstration, expect ”something to drink and nibble, Pizzacones and pancakes, Coffee Wagon with popcorn and candyfloss…”

There will also be craft stalls.

Music and dance evening with Platform 1893

In association with Drakondale School of the Arts and the PMB Gandhi Memorial Committee, enjoy a fun-filled family evening of music and dance on Friday, December 4 2020, from 6.30pm for 7pm.

The venue (with safe parking and cover for rain) is the Pietermaritzburg Station.

“Enjoy Christmas carols, classical and pop performances, dance to some of Gandhi’s favourites,” says the invite.

The Big Scary Adventure launch

Popular Durban-based author Elana Bregin is launching her latest “child”, titled The Big Scary Adventure, in Hilton and Howick in the next week.

The book will be launched at the Quarry Centre’s Top Class Books on Saturday, December 12 at 10.30am, and near Howick at the Old Mushroom Farm, 11 Karkloof Road, on Thursday, December 17 at 11am.
