Leap into the ‘Roaring ’20s’ with a leap year ‘Great Gatsby’ Party, with Platform Jazz playing music from the 20s and beyond, presented in association with Christopher Duigan’s Music Revival.

The seven-piece jazz band will perform numbers including Georgia, Ain’t Misbehavin, Chicago and many more. Favourites by Jelly Roll Morton, Fats Waller and Louis Armstrong are also on the programme.

Durban-based Platform Jazz features Cathy Peacock on trumpet, Kirsten Sayers on clarinet, Jeff Robinson on sax, David Solomon on trombone, Melvin Peters on keyboards, Bruce Baker on drums and Andreas Kappen on bass.

Christopher Duigan makes a guest appearance and KZN songbird Shelley McLean completes the line-up.

The ticket price includes a two-course meal and welcome drink.

Booking is essential as space is limited, so contact 033 342 4813 to book a table.

And dress ’20s-style.
