DOT UK is out DOT ZA is in!

Google “veg box companies” and most of the websites end in dot uk. But there are a few to be had in za and one of them is right here in the Midlands. In Rosetta to be precise.

Our local Veg Box Company is owned by Eastvale Farm’s Liz Williams and to say this feisty woman is passionate about her sustainable business would be an understatement.
Established in 2015, The Veg Box Company supplies mouth-watering goodies — vegetables, meat, cheeses, nuts, fresh juices, you name it — to your door, or a drop-off point near you, on a weekly basis.

All produce is locally sourced, which helps Liz and those who support her to lower their carbon footprint, something which is close to her heart.

Everything that is available each week appears on the company’s website. All you have to do is browse through the list of items, choose what you want from an ever-growing range of produce, check out and The Veg Box Company handles the rest.

The boxes range in price from R60 to R120, depending on size. Liz also features recipes on her site, some of which she “boxes” too.
The Pork Sausage Rolls Recipe Box, for example, comes with a recipe for these delicious treats, as well as all the ingredients necessary for you to put your rolling skills to the test. There is also a Braai Box and an Easy Roast Chicken Box, to name a few.

The Veg Box Company’s website also has a comprehensive list of recipes that have all been tried and tested by Liz and her family.
And although there are no recipes, Liz hasn’t forgotten our beloved four-legged loyalists. There is a range of pet products too.
So forget that rainy island that goes by the name dot uk and look no further than dot za #kznmidlands for all you need to put a whole host of delicious treats on your dining room table.
