The Cordwalles Preparatory School Grade 6 boys spent a morning at the African Birds of Prey Sanctuary where they took time to view and appreciate some of the spectacular birds that are housed at the sanctuary. Once the wow factor had worn off somewhat, the boys got down to work: sketching and drawing owls, and describing their favoured raptor in detail. These pieces of work will be used as a basis for some of their Art and English themes in the near future.

So to add to the excitement, our very own Mr Robertson (who completed his first Dusi this year) came in to chat to the boys about the race. The boys loved hearing all his stories about race day and his preparation for the race.
