TWC Gymnast wins bronze
Catherine Bracco from The Wykeham Collegiate Junior School represented KZN for Gymnastics in Pretoria recently where she won a bronze medal for bar, beam, floor and vault.

The Wykeham Collegiate Junior School pupil, Josephine le Roux, competed at the KZN Rhythmic Gymnastics trials recently and has been selected to represent KZN at the National event in Cape Town in October.

TWC  Swimmer in Adult Gala
Paige Brombacher from The Wykeham Collegiate Junior School competed at the SA Short Course Championships held in Pietermaritzburg recently. She swam in the 50m, 100m and 200m breaststroke, competing against adults, although only being under 13 age group herself.

The Wykeham Collegiate staff and girls were treated to a fascinating presentation by Dr Adriana Marais about the planned expedition to Mars. The girls were amazed to find out that this was a one-way journey and asked many questions at the end of the talk.

TWC long jumper breaks record
Congratulations to Lucy Mackenzie from The Wykeham Collegiate Junior School who set a new Long Jump Record of 4,09m for Girls U/10 at the recent Inter-Schools Athletics Meet held at Pelham Primary School

The Wykeham Collegiate held their Grade 12 Prize-Giving on Thursday 22 September 2016 at which Morgan Rowland was announced as the Dux of 2016 and Moyo Lawal-Solarin as the Runner-up to Dux. The Guest of Honour was TWC Old Girl, Talia Sanhewe, (multi award-winning reporter, presenter and managing director of Talia Productions).

Tori Jackson from The Wykeham Collegiate Junior School represented KZN at the Inter-Provincial Gymnastics Championships held in Pretoria recently where she received a silver medal in the Level 3 disciplines.
