Wartburg Kirchdorf School SALGA 2015 Cricket team.

WKS 1st Team cricket captain, Mitchell Pautz, and our vice-captain, Ross McLennan, have both been included in the SALGA 2015 cricket squad. The team was announced on the evening of 29 October 2015 and the two boys, both matric learners, prefects and Hostel prefects were excited to be included. The team will attend a camp from 6-10 December 2015 and will play games from 11-14 December 2015.

WKS Dux Christiane Rencken

The Wartburg Kirchdorf School annual High School Prize giving ceremony was held recently. The Dux for 2015 is Christiane Rencken, who recently featured in the news for achieving 1st place in the SA Consumer Studies Olympiad. Christiane also received 1st prize in Consumer Studies, Life Orientation, Life Science, Afrikaans, German, Mathematics, English and the Bilingualism prize.

WKS is proud to congratulate Frankie du Toit on a fine achievement. Frankie transferred her offroad success to the 106km Amashova road race recently and completed the gruelling race in first place for the junior ladies section.

Frankie, who is a Wartburg Kirchdorf School prefect, deputy-head girl and Springbok cyclist, wrote her matric final exams this year. We wish her every success in her academic achievements, and look forward to continued success in the cycling events.
