At St Charles College, a special dinner is held towards the end of Term 4 to celebrate the Grade 7s. This formal dinner was enjoyed by the boys and the Preparatory School teachers. The library was decked out in a theme that celebrated the Springboks. The décor, put together by the Grade 7 mothers, added much to what was a very special evening. After a welcome, the boys were treated to a song, written especially for them, and performed by Mrs Michelle Swan and Miss Heather Skorpen. Over dinner, many chats were enjoyed and proud teachers got to engage with boys whom they have seen grow through the years. A presentation and video sparked a few laughs and brought back memories. The evening ended with the official opening of the new fish pond in the Senior Primary quad, which was very kindly donated by the Grade 7 community.

To round of an excellent year for the St Charles College Senior Primary School, the Grade 7s tackled the challenging of facing the Staff in a game of touch rugby. The competitive streak came out in more than a few of the staff members, as the Grade 7s were playing some excellent rugby. The Staff came out on top in the end. It was a spirit-building end to the final term of 2015.
