St Charles College 2018 Speech Night

The highlight of the St Charles College calendar is the school’s annual Speech Night. For this occasion, the Indoor Centre was transformed into a beautiful venue, fit for an evening celebrating all the achievements of the past year.

This year’s matrics took pride of place in front of the stage, savouring the final formal function of their schooling careers. A highlight was the speech given by 2018 head boy, Matthew Mortimer. Seeing the school through the eyes of the Head Boy is an insightful experience and it was wonderful to hear of the memories he will cherish of his 12 years at St Charles College.

The school extended its congratulations to all those selected to be prefects and council leader. The top five selected as head boy and deputies are Kyle Reid (Head Boy), Brayden Sampson, Zukile Mbuli, JJ Foord and Guy Church.

The evening concluded with a rousing rendition of the St Charles school song.
