The Cordies Families   concept n(approximately 20  families) is one of  Cordwalles  Preparatory School  boys building  relationships in small  groups of 10 – 14,  each made up of  Grades 1 – 7 boys  from the same school  house and headed up by a teacher.

Three times a term Cordies Families meet to discuss various and relevant topics.

Do you know your butter knife from your fish knife? The Cordwalles Preparatory School Grade 7 boys were reminded by Merill King, Executive Chef of Capitol Caterers, that good manners are always in fashion. The boys spent an informative morning learning about social and dinning etiquette, which they then had the opportunity of putting into practice. Cordwalles firmly believes that manners really do make a man!

The Cordwalles Preparatory School Grade 4 boys had the opportunity to  show off their culinary skills at this year’s Ready, Steady, Cook! The  boys and their parents shared an evening of fun, food and friendship as  they competed against the clock to produce a mouth-watering main  course and dessert! Some of the ingredients in their mystery Spar bags  included a French loaf, chicken breasts, a tin of mushroom soup,  caramel treat and pancake mix. A big thank you to Parklane Super Spar  for providing the food, aprons and chef hats.
