GHS Reunion Day

Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High School held its annual Reunion Day on 4 August and hosted almost 300 ladies who returned to their much loved high school to meet old friends, share fond memories and catch up with some of their teachers. The event was catered by the Grade 11 Consumer Studies learners and Consumer Studies teachers.

 

 

GHS Choir Success

The GHS Choir, who competed in Pretoria at the ATKV Finals this weekend, have received the following awards, Best choir in the category for non-Afrikaans speaking high schools – Girls, Best performance of prescribed work in the category for non-Afrikaans speaking high schools – girls, mixed and boys’ choirs and Second place overall in the category for non-Afrikaans speaking high schools, which includes girls, mixed and boys’ choirs. Their overall score was 86,24%, and the first place winner’s score was 86,30%. We are extremely proud of our girls.
