Never hurts to keep looking for sunshine…
26 May 2016 , from the sunny but crisp Midlands
Long ago, tired of paying for a morning dose of negativity in the local papers, I resort most often to News24 to keep myself in touch with the names of the who’s who in politics, and perhaps a story or two that should keep me in the conversational loop when I meet with clients, business associates or friends.
A quick check on the headlines over the past week made me grateful yet again that we decided 14 years ago to keep things relevant but positive in the Meander Chronicle. As Eyeore even says “it never hurts to keep looking for sunshine”.
It makes getting up in the morning a whole lot easier, and everything we tell you is TRUE! #’strue
So I will save “Court told of Threats”, “Zuma Spy Tapes”, “R9 million on luxury vehicles for Wives”, “man critical after shipping container accident” … for another day perhaps, and indulge in the lighter side of life in the KZN Midlands where people, places and passion do make a difference.
Our front page story on Kim Goodwin’s contribution to Afrikaburn is a delight, Ardmore continues to make global waves, now contributing to the design flair of the iconic Hermes brand, and Greytown has it’s own Little Miss World”!
There’s plenty more, both in this edition, and on our constantly updating website..the good news never stops. Enjoy the last of May days, and make the most of June. #wekeepyouposted
