N3TC’s annual photographic competition – last chance!

N3 Toll Concession (N3TC) reminds  all photographers – professionals  and amateurs – that its annual  photographic competition will close  on 31 July 2015.

N3TC is the  company responsible for the 415km  N3 Toll Route between Heidelberg  in Gauteng and Cedara in KwaZulu-  Natal.

Its photographic competition, now  in its 8th year, continues to draw  wide interest from photographers who wish to showcase their images captured in or near the vicinity of the N3 Toll Route.

This year a new category, for altered images, has been added. Photographs can be entered in any of the following categories:
Sport and Recreation
Wildlife, Flora and Fauna
Altered Images

The competition aims to promote the people and areas through which the N3 Toll Route traverses, and encourages photography as a hobby, especially among local communities and scholars.

The winning photograph from a scholar will also earn his/her school R5000.00 prize money. N3TC encourages photography as a hobby or career and hopes to see this category continue to grow.

The following prizes will be presented:
• Overall Winner – R5 000,00
• Category Winner – R2 000,00
• Category Runner-Up – R1 500,00
• Scholar Winner – R1 000,00
• Scholar Runner-Up – R500,00
• Scholar winner’s school – R5 000,00
• Merit awards (maximum of two per category) – R500,00
