The four-day festival kicks off on Freedom day on Thursday 27 April and concludes on Sunday 30 April. Big names that will be performing at the festival are The Kiffness; Durban’s Easy Freak; Michaelhouse’s very own Pillar Box Red comprising of four Michaelhouse schoolars; Pietermaritzburg’s very own Idol Noma Khumalo who will be joined by legendary Jazz vocalist Sibongile Khumalo; and ending the festival on a high note, Africa’s foremost professional orchestra, the KZNPO, led by maestro Richard Cock and Michaelhouse’s very own William Silk.

And for something new:- MiTH (Music in The Hills) moves, for the weekend, from The Knoll Barn to Michaelhouse – during the Michaelhouse Music Festival. Be entertained by both pros and amateurs, or grab a spot in one of the open mic slots to perform and share your music with a friendly, music-loving audience.
