Showcase of Culture at Merchiston Preparatory School

For two weeks of September the halls of Merchiston were a hive of activity with the annual Eisteddfod and Art Exhibition. The boys were once again preparing to show case their talents and creativity, with their teacher’s assistance, a wonderful snapshots of poetry, dance, song, storytelling, music and visual art. Each and every Senior Primary boy had the opportunity of becoming involved in the planning and development of his class item treating the audience to a rich diversity of talent. The Art Exhibition then took place, where a variety of boys from the Senior Primary were asked to exhibit their Art Portfolios for 2015. This year the boys drew inspiration from some of the greatest artists in the world. The boys should be very proud of their pieces that represented their individuality and artistic flair.
