Laddsworth Primary Planting trees for the future
During the annual tree-planting ceremony at Laddsworth Primary School Gavin Lambooy assisted Sharon Houghting in settling a Forest Bushwillow into its new home. The Forest Bushwillow (Combretum krausii) and a Parsley tree (Bosvaderlandswilg Heteromorpha arborescens) were planted in the gardens at Laddsworth Primary School.
Children were reminded of the role of trees in our eco-system and that it is important to keep planting trees. They each had the opportunity to throw some soil into the hole and thereby be a part of this important activity. Pictured L-R: Rachael Nutting and Demi Edwards participate in tree planting.
