Laddsworth Primary’s young cyclists complete first 25km MTB Race

Laddsworth’s Under 8 Tennis Champ
Adam Tilbury competed in the Spar Hilton Tennis Cup where he was runner up in the Under 8 Singles category.

Laddsworth Primary’s Josephine exhibits Equestrian Excellence

Laddsworth Primary School congratulates Josephine Clewlow on fine results achieved at the South African Pony Rider Championships which were held at The Royal Agricultural Show Grounds in Pietermaritzburg from the 27th June to the 5th July 2015. Josephine and Harcourts Chuckleberry Finn came 5th in the Individual Open Working Riding Pony; 7th in the Individual Open Working Hunter Pony and 17th in the 90cm Championship. They were also in the KZN Regional Showing Team which finished 4th in the team event.
Josephine and Harcourts Highover Maria came 2nd in the Individual Open Show Riding Pony, 4th in the Individual Novice 3 Dressage, 4th in the Individual Novice 4 Dressage and 12th in the Individual South African Novice Dressage Championship. They were also members of the KZN Provincial Showing Team which finished 3rd and the KZN Novice Dressage Team which won. (pic: Tamara & Blake Images)

Grade 5 pupils at  Laddsworth Primary  School ended their  project on Countries  around the Globe in  style with a Taste  Tour. Dressed up in  clothing that  represented their  country they served  tasters of the cuisine  synonymous with  their respective  countries. This multi-  sensory learning  journey was  thoroughly enjoyed by  all.

 Laddsworth’s Zara and  Misty  enjoy the SPCA  1000 Paws  Walk
Zara Gilson in Grade 2 at  Laddsworth Primary School  participated in the 1000 Paws Walk  and the Scouts Obstacle Course  during the July school holiday. Her  well-trained dog, Misty scored 94%  in the obstacle challenge and was  awarded a medal. They both walked  2km, Misty was very tired by the  end of the morning.
