Laddsworth Primary Learner represents SA in Mounted Games

Rachel Tegg was awarded South African Equestrian Federation (SAEF) Development Colours for representing SA in the Nations Mounted Games Championship in 2016, at the Annual Inter-Provincial Tournament (IPT) Dinner, during the April holidays. Well done Rachel, Laddsworth is extremely proud of you!

Laddsworth Primary Learner takes on Hill2Hill

Sven van Zuydam, a Grade 7 pupil at Laddsworth Primary School took part in the Hill2Hill 15km cycle on Saturday 15 April 2017, at Shongweni Club in Durban. Sven came 11th in his age group, and 54th overall.

Abbie Julius

Abbie Julius, a Grade 2 pupil at Laddsworth Primary School, took part in the Pietermaritzburg warm-up gymnastics competition recently. Abbie got a silver medal for Level 2, in her 8 year old division.  Well done Abbie!

Laddsworth Primary Boys take part in Scouts Training Camp

Laddsworth Grade 7 pupils Ethan Kleu and Michael Finch attended a four day training camp at Lexden recently. Ethan and Michael are part of the Hilton 1st Scout Group. The camp is designed to train young Scouts for a leadership role within Scouts and to develop them on a personal level. Activities included camping, cooking, knotting and games.

 

 

 

Laddsworth Primary collects Easter Eggs for Siyabonga
Laddsworth Primary School handed over Easter eggs to Mrs Kanzler from Siyabonga in time for Easter. Laddsworth pupils have been doing an Easter Eggs collection for Siyabonga for the last seven years. Siyabonga will hand out these Easter eggs to under privileged children in the communities that they support.

Laddsworth hosts 5-a-side Soccer Tournament.

Laddsworth Primary School hosted a 5-a-side Soccer Tournament on Saturday 22 April 2017. Over 420 children in 60 teams from many schools around Pietermaritzburg and as far afield as Kokstad, participated in a fun-filled morning. A very big thank you to the Hilton Quarry SUPERSPAR for sponsoring the Laddsworth 5-a-Side Soccer Tournament. The results were as follows: Under 9 Winner: Alston Primary School, Runner up: Scottsville Primary School. Under 10 Winner: Hayfields Primary School, Runner up: Clarendon Primary School. Under 11 Winner: Hayfields Primary School, Runner up: Scottsville Primary School. Open Winner: Woodlands Primary School, Runner up: Alston Primary School. Congratulations to all the participants.
