Laddsworth Library gets a R50 000 boost

The library now boasts a sturdy, lockable mobile storage and display cabinet, called a book wagon, plus several boxes of new books. The donation to the value of R50 000 came courtesy of P. Trimborn Agency.
The company donated the book wagon plus Zulu and Afrikaans readers, non-fiction and reference books “that will be a very valuable resource for pupils to use,” said Laddsworth headmaster Gavin Lambooy.
Financial manager at P. Trimborn Agency, Lisa Joubert, explained that the donation was part of the company’s BEE incentive programme that focused on social enterprise through state schools.
