Laddsworth firsts for 2016 intake

The first music lesson and first class swimming lesson at primary school is exciting for our new Grade 1 intake. Our Sports Coordinator Linda Wolhuter is supported by local swim instructors Julie Lowe and Verity Dean during swimming lessons at Laddsworth Primary School.

Laddsworth Cubs and Scouts Remember BP’s Birthday
To celebrate the birthday of Scouting’s Founder, Lord Robert Baden-Powell, which was on 21 February, cubs and scouts around the globe wear their uniforms. Annually at Laddsworth Primary School we see a growing number of pupils joining this movement which teaches life skills; including how to be good citizens, learning ways to improve the world as well as indoor and outdoor challenges.  Coming to school in their uniforms gives the children a chance to show off all their hard-won badges.

Laddsworth Water CollectionLADDS water donations ed161 feb16
Pupils at Laddsworth Primary School in Hilton collected just over 6000 litres of water for the ECR #WaterShare project. Gift of the Givers, based in Pietermaritzburg generously collected the bottles of water to assist ECR with the distribution. Laddsworth is proud to see the children being mindful of how necessary water is on our planet and of the plight of those facing more severe drought conditions.
