Kings School Water Explorers

Here the Grade 6 King’s Water Crusaders are on a walkabout to count all the toilets in the school and audit how much is used to flush away waste on a daily basis.

Here the Grade 6 King’s Water Crusaders are on a walkabout to count all the toilets in the school and audit how much is used to flush away waste on a daily basis.

On the 24th April the King’s School learners were introduced to the Water Explorer programme by Bridget Ringdahl from WESSA.
The programme is an internet based “competition” which aims to raise awareness about water and the responsible nurturing of this precious resource. We learned that though the planet may be composed of 70% of water only 1% of that is suitable for consumption.
