Howick High sports awards

On August 29, Howick High School held its first Sports Awards Ceremony and welcomed Dale Benkenstein – a former cricket Protea and current national team batting coach – as the guest speaker. The following Howick pupils were congratulated on their awards:

Howick High Sports Awards 2018

A number of special awards were presented:
William Gilbert – selected to represent the Protea Youth Fly-Fishing Team

Taro and Enya Reece – represented the Open Age Group KZN Equestrian Mounted Games team and were placed first in the provincial competition.

Nadine Dickinson, Tristan Strauss, Kelly Ferreira, Luca Tissiman and Daena Horne – The Howick High School Equestrian team were a top scoring high school team in the South African National Equestrian Schools Association for 2017.
