Howick High succeeds at Co-Ed Gala

Swimming coaches Mrs Gardner and Miss Macadam with the victorious Howick High School Swimming Squad.

Howick High took part in the Co-Ed Gala at the 50m UKZN pool, competing against 6 schools. Our squad’s fitness and dedication paid off, resulting in Howick being placed first and bringing the trophy home for the first time. Congratulations to all the swimmers. Special mention must be made of Jenna McLeish who was the U14 Victrix Ludorum. Pic:

Howick High School opens Indoor Facility
On the evening of Tuesday, 14 March, Howick High School was privileged to have KZN Inland Head Cricket Coach, Shane Burger and Mr Jay Mannikum of the Department of Sport and Recreation attend the opening of its new Indoor Sport Facility. Mr Burger applauded Howick High School for producing some outstanding sports men and women, referring to the recent selection of Nicole de Klerk (class of 2016) for the U19 SA Women’s Cricket team. Mr Mannikum welcomed the school to the ‘Sport Focussed Schools’ program which will see Howick High benefit from specialist training and equipment.

 

 

Howick High Interhouse Gala

Howick High School congratulates Everdon House who were the overall winners of the 2017 Interhouse Gala as well as the recipients of the Spirit Trophy. The following awards were made:
