The annual awards for HARTS members, the Asselburg Cup was held on the 12th of December. This prestigious award is given every year to the artist that has attained a consistently high standard throughout the year, as judged by all members of HARTS.

This year there were two who qualified for this prestigious award; Jenny Miles and Meg Stanley. For the first time HARTS held an in house exhibition entitled “My Africa”, ¬†Bryony Clarke, Assistant Curator of the Tatham Gallery together with Kobie Venter the Tatham Education Officer kindly agreed to judge the entries.

Many thanks to Bryony and Kobie who took the morning off to judge all the entries.
