Discover the N3 Gateway in 100 Itineraries

Explore the N3 Gateway website as you plan your getaways with the plethora of public holidays coming up over the next month. The itinerary project brings the total number of itineraries available on to over 100.

The N3 Gateway Tourism Association recognised the need to package the region’s diverse and abundant range of “things to do and see” into crafted self-drive and facilitated itineraries. Travellers often don’t understand how much is available along the N3 Toll Route and when they do find something that excites them, they are often uncertain of the logistics involved. The N3 Gateway itineraries introduce a range of experiences within our region by answering pre-trip questions such as “when to go” or “what to pack” and assist the traveller in understanding whether their desired adventure is within their budget. This enables travellers to make more informed decisions about the length of stay and invites them to mix and match the experiences in a trip.

If your passion is horse riding gliding, eating out, mountain biking, or shopping – the N3 Gateway itineraries have something for you. Any time is agood time as any for romance, so why not take your loved one on a hot air balloon ride. Adventurous foodies can enjoy a road trip into the heart of the Eastern Free State to experience aCherry and Apple Farm Tour. If you’re up for more, on your way back, why not pop into Clarens for an adrenalin pumping, heart thumping rafting experience? Or rock a cowboy hat and ride into Lesotho on Horse Back. The choices are endless; we have something for everyone!

We have given you over 100 reasons to enjoy the N3 Gateway this Season! Find these on Don’t delay – Explore, Experience and Enjoy what the N3 Gateway has to offer.
