Cordwalles Gr 7 Leadership Camp
At the start of first term the Grade 7 boys at Cordwalles Preparatory School underwent a week of learning Leadership Skills. At school the leadership was based on Covey’s book 7 principles for effective teens. The boys then went on a Leadership camp to Wagendrift where they focused on group dynamics, team building and included activities such as obstacle courses.

Outdoor learning at Cordwalles Prep
The Environmental Classroom is in full swing at Cordwalles Preparatory School. Here the Grade 6 boys were learning how to tie knots.

 

 

 

Cordwalles Swimmers

Congratulations to Front row from left:Gregory Lovett, Matthew Dickson, Jean Combrink, Thomas Mitchell and Joaquim Abreu. Back row from left: Declan Sawyer, Matthew Gray and Luke Spear who participated in the KZN Midlands swimming trials and achieved medals. The top three swimmers for each event received a medal – either gold, silver, bronze in the races they participated in.

Matthew Dickson, Jean Combrink, Thomas Mitchell, and Joaquim Abreu qualified within the specified times set by KZN and were then selected for the Midlands Team.

Cordwalles Prep School celebrates Valentines

In the theme of Valentine’s Day the grade 4 boys at Cordwalles Preparatory School learnt about the alphabetical order using Valentine’s Day hearts and words.

Happy 105 Cordwalles Preparatory School
Happy Birthday Cordwalles Preparatory School – 105 years! Thank you to Jonty Oosthuizen – Cordies Old Boy Class of 2012 and St Charles College Deputy Head Boy who was their Guest of Honour. Jonty delivered an inspirational speech to all the young boys of Cordwalles, encouraging them to enjoy and make the most of their precious time they have at Cordwalles. Cordwalles Prep Interhouse Gala
Another great afternoon of swimming at the recent Inter House gala at Cordwalles Preparatory School. The boys swam their hearts out and had a blast cheering for their house.
