Clifton Prep, Nottingham Rd to host Joberg2C riders
25 April to 3 May is Joberg2C, a 9 day mountain biking adventure starting in the South of Johannesburg and ending on the Natal South Coast at Scottburgh. Clifton Preparatory School in Nottingham Road is delighted to host the 1025 riders on day 5 of the event at Glengarry in the Kamberg. Clifton intends using this amazing opportunity to share their warm country hospitality, showcase their community spirit and fundraise for a much appreciated indoor sports centre. In preparation of this exciting event, the Clifton Family Day on 22 March included some exciting inter-house challenges. Trojans, Crusaders and Barbarians battled it out to be crowned winners of the J2C Inter-house trophy. Challenges included tent pitching, bike washing and a mountain biking race through the adjacent woods and fields. Great fun and mud were had by all ! Thank you to all our sponsors in the area who have so generously contributed to supporting us for the J2C event, through donations of biscuits, water, juice and many much appreciated items. If you would like to contribute in terms of goods or services, you are most welcome to contact Mrs Karen McKenzie on firstname.lastname@example.org. Clifton Preparatory School in Nottingham Road is looking forward to welcoming all J2C riders to this breathtakingly beautiful part of the world, for the ride, but trustingly also for many repeat visits to the Natal Midlands !
