Battle of the bands reaches final stages

Saturday, August 24 is the second-to-last week of the Battle of the Bands at Liberty Midlands Mall and the heat is on for the bands and artists still standing as they duke it out to get to the finals.

The mall’s epic Battle of the Bands event has seen some inspiring performances by exciting talents, who each week have taken to the stage to compete for the grand prize of R10 000 and the chance to perform future gigs at the mall.

On Saturday, August 17, bands Brown Jam and Many Moore (pictured above) took to the stage and did enough to go through to the grand finale.

Brown Jam, formed 10 years ago, consists of Nathaniel Charles on drums, Nathaniel Naidoo on piano/synths, Timothy Naidoo on guitar and vocals, and Jordan Govender on bass.
