ACADEMIC AWARDS FOR TREVERTON COLLEGE STUDENTS
Treverton College recently made their annual academic awards to outstanding achievers. The awards are made on the final marks achieved by each pupil at the end of the previous year, in this case 2012.
In the current Grade 12-year, six top academics were rewarded for high standards. There was only one boy in the group, Oliver Bouwer, who was also the only one of the sextet to receive Academic Honours, which requires an average of over 85% or six subject A symbols. Five girls received academic colours; they are: this year’s head girl Ciara Botha, Kerishia Perumal, Megan Blades, Aimee Warren and Dee Twiddy.
There were also six pupils in Grade 11 who were awarded academic colours.
This time the boys were in the majority. They are Jonathan Ogden, Don Paterson, Sam Scherer and Patrick Knight joined by Anja Kanzler and Jordan Lecler.
Junior classes receive Laurel Awards for a high standard of Academics, Grade 10s Christi Ferreira and Megan Ramsden were this year’s recipients.
