From Trainees To Trainers Through BBBEE

Two years ago local agricultural development company Zylem CC, started making BBBEE contributions for the development of a local black- owned training enterprise called Qhakaza. Last week the wheel turned full circle: Qhakaza was able to present a workshop on Goal Setting for staff members from Zylem. In BBBEE speak this achievement goes by the grand name of `Enterprise and Supplier Development’ and is worth quite a few BBBEE points for Zylem. For the four women trainers from Qhakaza this has been a rare opportunity.
Zylem’s Gill Platt thanked Qhakaza for their professional training course. She also thanked SchoolTrade for helping to develop the training skills of the Qhakaza team. For more information on the Qhakaza project contact Colin McKay at colin.schooltrade@gmail.com
