Cordwalles Prep listen to an Adventurers Tale
The Grade 4 – 7 boys at Cordwalles Preparatory School participate in a wide range of hobbies on a Friday afternoon ie: environmental club, fishing, model building, pottery, mountain biking, golf, cooking etc.

Guest Speaker Rob Bentley, an Adventurer, who earlier this year was at Mount Everest when an earthquake struck and an avalanche came crashing through the Base Camp kept the boys enthralled with his account.

What a treat it was to have a local renowned Zimbabwean artist, Makiwa Mutomba demonstrate his style of painting to the Grade 5 boys at Cordwalles Prep. The boys were intrigued by the self –taught artist who uses no brushes, only scrapers and palette knives to create master pieces from oils.

 

 

Cordwalles Prep Boys awarded a St George Certificate

A St George Certificate is awarded to a boy who may have has gone beyond the call of duty, shown an act of kindness, or the core values of Cordwalles those being respect, integrity, responsibility, courage and compassion.

 

 

Cordwalles takes delivery of new “Artmann”

There was great excitement in the Cordwalles Music Department when delivery of the new “Artmann” piano took place. Out of 135 boys learning an instrument privately, there are 39 pianists. The upgrading of the pianos will be welcomed by many enthusiastic pianist.

On your marks, get set, go! The Cordwalles Inky boys took part in the Tour de Cordwalles which saw many boys having a blast riding their bicycles through the beautiful school grounds.
